Why I Didn't Give Treats at Halloween This Year

Source This year, I did not decorate my house with skeletons and phantoms. I did not prepare any treats for my neighbourhood either. It felt bad and mean. To tell you the truth, I did not want to get creative and figure out a way to distribute those candies with nice, clean and safe manners. I was - and I'm still - frustrated with not being able to hug my own kids and their loved ones because they live a in a safer zone than mine. I am sad and angry at the pandemics and its obligations. So much blaaah mood because social distancing and social bubbles! I also disagree with the constant use of chemical satinizers on children's bodies and their food. There have been numerous recalls because of the presence of a toxic version of alcohol in those products, which were dangerous for children and pregnant woman. Did you know? No one knew unless they read the very small prints on the labels. I want the children to be free and creative, and happy. They need a life, with a loving flex...
